LISA TECH a. s. – the commercial and technical office of ECO-lines technology – worked with the customer to select the UNTHA RS60 4-shaft shredder as the starting point for a comprehensive recycling plant. Up to 1.5 tons of post-consumer waste are shredded per hour and prepared for subsequent processing steps. The result of the entire process is interior and insulation panels, which are used in the construction industry, among other places.

LISA TECH a.s. was founded in 2021 in the Czech Republic as a commercial and technical office for ECO-lines technology. The company specializes in the upcycling of post-consumer waste such as plastics and composite materials. These are used, among other things, to manufacture interior and insulation panels for the construction industry and other sectors. LISA TECH a.s. works closely with SMART TECHNIK a.s. (a division of LISA TECH a.s.), which develops and produces ECO-lines technology for the ecological processing of municipal and industrial waste.

For a recycling plant that recycles plastic waste and Tetra Packs, the company was looking for a shredder that could be optimally integrated into the overall plant. Their goal is to shred waste into a homogeneous output material, separate individual material streams from each other, and then process them into plates.
REQUIREMENTS
Throughput capacity: 1.5 t/h
Efficient shredding
Granulate size approx. 25 mm
Integration into overall plant

Ultimately, the UNTHA RS60 4-shaft shredder was chosen. This slow-running shredder is located at the beginning of the recycling plant and ensures efficient shredding of up to 1.5 tons of material per hour. The cutting unit, which was individually adapted to the customer's requirements, is a key factor. It ensures automatic material feed and, in conjunction with the 30 mm perforated screen, shreds it to a particle size of approx. 25 mm. The shredder has a quick-change screen system that allows screens to be changed in no time, and an automatic central lubrication system. A special hopper was also installed to feed the shredder via a feed conveyor belt. A hydraulic feed device ensures optimum feed of bulky material. The shredder has also been integrated into the plant control system: it starts automatically when the material passes a light barrier and the feed conveyor belt is stopped when a defined fill level is reached to ensure optimum shredding.
We chose the UNTHA RS60 to efficiently shred pre-sorted waste such as plastics and Tetra Packs and prepare it for further processing in the plant. It impressed us above all with its throughput capacity and the homogeneous output material, and it could be integrated perfectly into the ECO plant.
