UNTHA America confirmed as Waste Today virtual exhibitor

Hampton, NH, Mar 30, 2020

In less than a month’s time, Waste Today will open the ‘doors’ to its virtual tradeshow. And UNTHA America is one of eight speakers on the line-up!

The digital event – which will take place on 13 May 12:00-16:00 EDT – has been launched in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic. And as the show’s website so perfectly points out: “…the coronavirus crisis is changing the way the world does business. However, innovation doesn’t stop, especially not in the waste industry.”

This statement sums up our approach entirely, hence why we had to be involved!

We will join seven other waste and recycling professionals from across the US, to share advice, product insight and next-step engineering developments that we hope will continue to transform how our industry operates.

Our own straight-talking presentation will delve into:

  • Some of the key shredding challenges facing operators today
  • How shredder innovations are evolving to ease those burdens
  • What to look for when building the perfect shredder specification
  • Why the UNTHA XR waste shredding technology and four-shaft UNTHA RS recycling machines are proving so popular, throughout North America and the rest of the world
  • Some of the flexible investment options proving attractive to operators during these tricky economic times.

There’s a lot to cover in only 30 minutes, but we’ll ensure we leave time at the end for questions. We’ll also provide direct contact details to hopefully enable the discussions to continue offline once the event is over.

Commenting on UNTHA America’s involvement with the Waste Today tradeshow, Gary Moore, director of global business development said: “For years, we’ve made great use of technology within UNTHA – whether we’re holding skype calls with customers, utilizing remote diagnostics to optimize shredder performance or producing videos for the global market to showcase just what our machines are capable of.

“This is why we were so interested in this virtual event. We’ve a lot to talk about – particularly when it comes to driving efficiencies and profitability throughout the industry during this unusual time. We hope to ‘see’ lots of people take part on the day, and will make sure it’s worth an afternoon ‘out’ of the diary.”

People wanting to attend the virtual tradeshow must pre-register online. It is free to get involved – from the comfort of your home or office – but you’ll need the necessary GoToWebinar links to access the event.
